Nikon celebrated at TIPA Awards 2016

Three of Nikon’s latest products (released between April 1, 2015 and March 31, 2016) have been selected as top products in the Technical Image Press Association (TIPA) Awards 2016. 

The TIPA Best DSLR Professional/Action category was won by the Nikon D5, TIPA Best APS-C DSLR Expert was awarded to the Nikon D500, and the TIPA Best Imaging Innovation Award was given to the SnapBridge app.

The TIPA Awards started back in 1991, with members meeting at least once a year to discuss industry innovations and trends. It is during these meetings that the TIPA Awards are voted on and the best photo and imaging products of the year are decided.

This year, 27 leading photo and imaging magazines from 15 countries voted on the best products, and the voting took place in San Francisco, USA, with the trophies being awarded during Photokina in Germany on September 20, 2016.
