Mike Langford

During the August 5–7 landscape retreat you’ll be able to utilize the stunning scenery that Queenstown has to offer to be guided on a journey that will see you producing creative landscape photography masterpieces. This workshop is suitable for all photographers with an interest in landscape photography as you will be able to get all the expert advice and insight you need from Ranken and Langford, who have been working in the industry for 30 years — of which 10 of those years they’ve been working under the Canon Masters title.

During the workshop you’ll explore design and composition, creative shooting, a print workshop, a sunrise session, a landscape session, a sunset session, a photo excursion to the Paradise Valley, and, if clear skies allow, there will also be a star session.

The Landscape Retreat will commence at 3pm on Friday, August 5 and end at 1pm on Sunday, August 7, and attendees will stay at Queenstown’s Goldridge Hotel — workshop spaces are limited, so if the Canon Collective Landscape Retreat sounds like something you’d like to be involved with, head to canon.co.nz/collective.
