SAE Creative Media Institute is well known and respected for its film courses — so much so that they have added a September intake to their Diploma in Film Making programme, due to the high demand for the course. This intake of students will be amongst the first to study in SAE’s brand-new, state-of-the-art film studio facilities, which are to open towards the end of 2016.
The September intake commences on September 5, and runs for 12 months until September 2017, and those keen to kick-start their career in the film and television industry shouldn’t wait to start applying. Spaces are strictly limited, so getting in earlier to secure your spot is advised.
The Diploma in Film Making focuses on intensive theoretical and practical training in all aspects of film and television production. Digital film and animated element creation is examined, and construction techniques are explored in depth. Throughout the course, individual computer workstations within the SAE Film Lab will be used, and utilizing the film production studio will help develop creative and technical skills using various industry software and control surfaces.
This new intake works well for international students who have completed their previous academic year in July, and this diploma is suitable for anyone wanting a solid grounding in the theory and practice of creative design and film-making, individuals interested in working professionally in television or film, enthusiasts and hobby film-makers wishing to become professionals, and anyone wanting to stay competitive and enhance their employability in a rapidly changing job market.
