Taking your photography to the next level at Auckland Zoo

Now it’s time to dig a little deeper and fine-tune your skills with Auckland Zoo’s intermediate photography workshop.

2 June 2016

So you understand the basics of photography and how to navigate your camera — perhaps you’ve already taken the beginners workshop — now it’s time to dig a little deeper and fine-tune your skills with Auckland Zoo’s intermediate photography workshop.

All you’ll need to bring with you is your DSLR camera with a fully charged battery, your camera manual, and any other accessories (like lenses, filters, and flash units), and you’re all set for a full-on day of exploring the zoo with two photography tutors who will be able to help you to take your photography to the next level.

The next intermediate workshop is coming up on Sunday, June 5 (9.30am–3pm), so if you want to get involved, you’ll need to act quick as there is only space for 14 people per workshop (minimum age required to attend is 16).

The workshop costs a total of $195, and this includes your zoo admission, morning tea, and course notes for you to take away and refresh your memory with.

And as an added bonus, if you attend the intermediate workshop you’ll get a 20-per-cent discount off individual tuition should you wish to extend your experience photographing and learning at the Auckland Zoo.
