As we’ve discovered with our recent competition, travel photography can produce some of the most intriguing and memorable images. However, it’s all too easy to end up at jostling against other eager photographers for the best spot, only to capture essentially the same image that we’ve seen a hundred times before. But a skilled photographer will be able to take that scene and provide a unique perspective on it. This is where a photo trip proves its worth: not only providing insider knowledge on the best places to visit, but also the skills to transform what could be a clichéd image into something special.

Japan is often amongst photographers’ top destinations to visit, and Rees Photography offers an itinerary designed to introduce you to the exciting world of travel photography, including everything from ancient temples to cityscapes; Tokyo street photography to wildlife. The November trip will see Japan in its full autumnal glory, incorporating the stunning Japanese Alps. The Rees Photography 2018 Tour of Japan guides, Thomas, Peter, and local guide Tokiko have the knowledge and experience to guide you through one of the world’s most culturally rich and visually stunning countries.
