The film follows a struggling Mumbai street photographer who, pressured to marry by his grandmother, convinces a shy stranger to pose as his fiancée during a family visit. By Indian director Ritesh Batra (The Lunchbox), the film sees the pair develop a surprising connection that challenges their worldviews through a wistful and funny romance.
