Continuing D-Photo‘s online coverage of this year’s Iris Professional Photography Awards, we are proud to present the winning images in the Travel, Wedding Classic and Wedding Creative categories.
Travel category: Mike Hollman
Auckland’s Mike Hollman makes his second showing in the champions list by taking the top travel spot of the year, a title he continues to hold from last year’s Iris Awards. The richly detailed winning images come from Mike’s travels in China.
Wedding Classic category: Jason Naylor
Jason Naylor, from Wellington wedding team We Do Photography, took the top spot in the Wedding Classic category this year, with a portfolio of dynamic, contemporary wedding imagery. The Wedding Classic category recognises excellence in genuine wedding photography, taken at an actual wedding, and focussing on in-camera skills. Jason also topped this year’s Wedding Album category.
Wedding Creative category: Jake Thomas
Jake Thomas, an Australian expat now living in New Zealand, was named this year’s winner in the Wedding Creative category, for his striking set of innovative wedding shots. The Creative category allows for images created outside of the official wedding event and permits for more experimentation with composite and post-production techniques.
