Lions, tigers, and one-on-one photography tuition at Auckland Zoo

Wanting to make the most of your time spent at Auckland Zoo refining your photography skills? The individual tuition option that is available will ensure that your photography tutor can be completely focused on you while you learn the ropes of your camera or move toward learning more advanced skills.

You can choose whether you want to spend a whole day or a half day with your tutor, and no matter what level you are at, just let Auckland Zoo’s Experience Products team know what you’re wanting to achieve, and a zoo photographer will be able to arrange the ideal day for you according to your requirements.

All you need to bring with you is your camera, a fully charged battery, your camera manual, and any other accessories you may wish to bring along. For $340 for a half day (9.30am–12pm), or $500 for a full day (9.30am–3.30pm), your zoo admission will be included as well as handy photography notes for you to take away and reflect on. Don’t forget that if you already attended the beginners and/or intermediate photography workshop, you’ll save 20 per cent on your individual tuition.
