Want to know the influencers behind Susan Bright’s creations?

Got an evening spare on Tuesday, August 23 at 6pm? Make your way to the Auckland Art Gallery to hear curator and writer Susan Bright talk about the images that have influenced the way she approaches photography.

Bright will select eight images that have had an impact on the way she thinks, and you’ll get an insight into the reasoning behind the common themes and issues that she features throughout her curating and writing. 

On August 17, Bright delivered the Peter Turner Memorial Lecture (where an internationally significant photographic historian, theorist, or artist speaks to the audience) at Massey University to a sold-out crowd. This is your final opportunity to hear and learn from Bright while she’s in New Zealand.
