The sensor drive speed during autofocusing has also improved and is now able to achieve 480fps — twice as fast as the camera’s predecessor, the GH4. And the 6K Photo inclusion shoots bursts of images then extracts the frame with the best timing to make sure you’re getting the highest-quality representation of your one-time-only image.

The GH5 features a very mobile and rugged design, with a magnesium alloy full die-cast front and rear frame, as well as a secure construction and seals to make the camera splashproof, dustproof, and freezeproof (down to –10°C).
