Returning for its second year is Wellington’s documentary photography festival, Photival, which is running 26–29 April.
The entries continue to stream in, and we continue to be impressed by the variety and skill of the images entered.
The Sigma D-Photo Amateur Photographer of the Year has been live just over a week, and already we’ve had a fantastic response with almost 900 images entered!

Monash Gallery of Art (MGA)’s exhibition, Antipodean emanations: cameraless photographs from Australia and New Zealand, will bring together Australian and New Zealand artists who push boundaries through experimentation. They unearth the elemental properties of photographic practice by exploring the art of cameraless photography from a new perspective with 80 cameraless photographs.
