One thing I love about nature is that you have absolutely no control. You might have an idea of what you want but hardly what you capture is what you initially envisioned. So I had the idea of a ‘clean’ photo of the gannets colony at Muriwai. I guess I got lucky to also get one flying with its wings spread when I clicked.
