The XE-3 is a compact rangefinder-style mirrorless camera with excellent video recording potential, with naturally great high-resolution options, built-in film simulation modes, video output to external hard drive or monitor, and a microphone jack. Naturally, it boasts Fujifilm’s X-Trans sensor for a touch of analogue spirit, excellent autofocus, start-up, shutter lag time and shooting performance, plus both the viewfinder and LCD touchscreen are of healthy size. Transferring digital files via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth completes a very functional package.
